 Javier Tucat Moreno
is graduated in 1998 as Piano
Professor at the "Juan José
Castro" Conservatory from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He has studied composition with Alfredo Otero and piano, in tango
style, with Beba Pugliese.
Since his graduation he continued studying piano with Aldo Antognazzi
and composition with Alfredo Otero and Luis Mucillo. Since 2000 Javier
Tucat Moreno lives in Berlin.
He is since 2004 pianist and
arrangeur of the tango ensemble Cantango Berlin with whom he recorded
two CDs and performed many times at the Philharmonie Berlin, all around
Germany and abroad (Austria, Poland, Mexico, Taiwan).
Since 2007 he became also the pianist of the Tango Orchester Qué Tangazo!,
which performs mainly in Tangoballs and Festivals. In 2009 three
musicians from QT! (the bandoneonist Judith Brandenburg, the violinist
Carolina Mazalesky and Javier Tucat Moreno) formed the Trio La Bicicleta,
which has a vast repertoire of own and (half) unknown compositions in a
very personal style.
He
